David M. Nernberg

David M. Nernberg is a shareholder and the son of the founder, Maurice A. Nernberg, who has been an attorney with Maurice A. Nernberg & Associates since 2007.

David is experienced in a wide range of commercial litigation, at the state, federal, and bankruptcy levels in Pennsylvania, as well as having extensive experience in the areas of estates and trusts litigation. David has been actively involved in all stages thereof, from initiation through the completion of the appellate process.

David is also an experienced trial lawyer who has participated and received favorable decisions in arbitration, jury, and non-jury trials, as well as through the appellate process. David has also facilitated numerous commercial transactions, including the sales of businesses and real estate and has participated in administrative proceedings related to eminent domain and real estate assessment litigation.

David is a 2006 graduate of the Duquesne University School of Law where he graduated cum laude. He received his bachelor’s degree from the University of Delaware in 1999. David lives in Pittsburgh and often bikes to work and participates in many local sports leagues playing ultimate frisbee, basketball, and tennis. In addition, David has volunteered his legal services and time to many local non-profits assisting them with management and day to day business dealings as well as coaching youth sports. David has been married to his wife Carla for 20 years and they have 3 children, from elementary to high school and both are active in the community.
